The groove on the prep side actually catches every bit of juice, so my counter stays clean when I'm carving a roast. The dished serve side is handy for bringing it straight to the table, and it's got a nice weight to it that feels solid without being awkward.

The flip design is genius—I use the grooved side for carving steaks and the dished side keeps juices from spilling onto the counter when I move it to the table. It’s solid and easy to wipe clean after dinner.

The carve side drains right into that groove so my counter stays clean, and flipping it to serve is effortless mid-dinner. Solid heft without being unwieldy, and the wood took a good scrubbing without warping.
